It is network of contemporary poets and poetry lovers. Members of Poetry First explores the creative possibilities .It is a platform where mainstream and marginal negotiate boundaries and and questions and inquires into the cannon formation in contemporary literary world where poetic communications has dramatically changed and is influenced by environment in rapidly changing world .

We focus to broaden the audience for poetry in this country, abroad and act as a resource for artists and audiences concerned with artistic relevance and poetry in a rapidly changing world. The poetry first school celebrates plurality in culture and languages. and believe translation activity as a bridge between cultures and communities. We aim to promote this new aesthetics through poetry , media and arts .The School is culture community dedicated to the free expression of the creative possibilities through poetry and creative writings .

poetry first .org is a fusion of cultures among association of new generation poets and poetry lovers. It is a forum on contemporary poetry . A place where there is Dialogue Through Poetry . In line with the objective of UNESCO - "Building a culture of peace and non-violence through poetry" . It affirms in all circumstances , and particularly in time of war and mass violence , poetry and the works of art , should be left untouched by selfish and political passion.

poetry first : Members pledge to do their utmost to dispel race , class , caste and national hatreds and to champion the ideal of one humanity living in peace poetry first as web Organization firmly supports the importance of poetry as a vehicle in building a culture of peace and non-violence in the world and sees this as the underlying precept in our programme which will unite poets and poetry lovers with common purpose. It stand for Peace Mission Through Poetry in association with various literary organizations and NGOs .
poetry first .org : events Members would hold a poetry reading on annual basis ON 21 March , to celebrate the World Poetry Day , as proclaimed by the 30th session of UNESCO General Conference, in 1999.We believe in facilitating poetry readings wherever possible in their respective cities.
poetry first Forum [ Its free and any poetry lover can join. ] It provides a platform to share poetry and creative writings. Get feedback or give constructive critique of the literary works posted at the forum. Poets and Writers should submit their work with sufficient bio data / resume while creating profile ( one can update my page i.e. your profile ) which gets added to Who's Who those who wish to be included for print version / offline journal if found suitable .
