K. Satchidanandan ( b.1946 - ). From Intro Indian Poetry : Modernism and After ed. K. Satchidanandan. His poet and critic of Malayalam and English with more than eighteen collections of poetry and fifteen collections of critical articles and fifteen collections of translated poetry to his credit. He has four highly acclaimed collection of poetry in English translations : Summer Rain , How to Go to the Tao Temple ,  Imperfect and Other New Poems and So Many Births: Three Decades of Poetry. His critical articles have been collected under the title Indian Literature : Positions and Propositions. He is winner of ten state-level and national awards for literature , his works have been translated into Indian and foreign languages. He has been Prof of English and the editor of Indian Literature : A Sahitya Akademi's Bi-Monthly Journal and is now on its Editorial Board and works as Secretary , Sahitya Akademi , New Delhi , India
